Donation Form Customization

Philantro's Donation and Event Ticketing forms can be customized within a fairly flexible range. While the positioning of various elements are fixed, font-type, verbiage, field visibility and styling can be controlled via settings on your Philantro® dashboard and/or via custom CSS.

If you are not familiar with CSS language, it's best to avoid this option.

Processing Fee Coverage

For donations, you can modify the processing fee coverage opportunity for donors. By opportunity, we're referring to the amount of the fee coverage (you can offer donors cover 25, 50, 75 or 100% of the fee) as well as the verbiage for that section.

SettingDescription
Fee CoverageChoose from 25, 50, 75 or 100% coverage. The percentage is not shown to donor, it's simply used to calculate the total amount visible on the Donation Form in your settlement currency. We've made the "asks" flexible because solicitations are never black and white. You might find donors are more receptive to covering 75% vs 100% but if you only put 100%, you could be missing out savings.
Coverage DisclaimerCustomize the verbiage used to frame the fee coverage opportunity. Let us say you're a journalism organization, you could enter "Optionally cover cost of processing so that 100% of your funds go toward unbiased, local reporting."
